The AIMS Bursary Fund is a Charity (no. 1123905), and we would welcome enquiries from individuals & organisations wishing to give money for the provision of these important Bursaries. 24 young singers were supported by the fund in 2011, despite the financial climate. Even modest amounts can be donated by Gift Aid. Please get in touch with us for a Gift Aid Form, or if you know how to build up our reserves.

AIM HIGH BY BECOMING AN AIMS SINGER

See the individual pages for Solo and Choral Singers plus Piano Accompanists and Crossover Singers.

ALL SINGING STUDENTS

are welcome to observe any of the classes at any time. They will be able to attend all events taking place during the week, including the Gala Recital and the Celebrity Masterclasses. Observers (non-participating residents) and Day-Visitors will be welcome in all classes.

PIANO ACCOMPANISTS

are also welcome - Duo partnerships especially so. So why not bring your regular accompanist with you! Baroque fiddlers, Lutenists & viola da gamba players may like to join the Early Music course. Lieder will be studied, and it would be good to bring some Debussy or Delius in 2012. There is an Informal Concert at 2.15pm on the final Saturday.

OPTIONAL EXTRAS

Various relaxation techniques & types of massage will be available from visiting therapists. Sessions can be booked up on the relevant noticeboard, which will also display their visiting times and prices. There are other daily ‘drop-in’ sessions in Cabaret, Stagecraft, ‘Singing and Acting’, ‘Sightsinging’ etc. There is a vocal warm-up everyday at 8.30am.
