Arrival at AIMS 2010

On Sunday August 22nd everyone arrives at Eastbourne College in sufficient time to park up in the designated areas to find their accommodation, and to settle in. Please arrive between 12 noon and 3.00pm unless auditioning.

Follow the signs to Registration to check in and receive a name badge, a book of meal tickets and a Pass-card if resident; or a Pass-card & name-badge if non-resident, together with an up-to-date timetable. You will meet the AIMS staff and ‘ Helpers’ who will ‘aim’ you in the right direction to find your accommodation. There will be orientation walks at 1.00pm, 2.00pm, & 3.00pm.

Badges will be issued on arrival. NB: Pianists’ badges will have a green border, Tutors’ badges a blue border, & Trogs (helpers) a red border. Local Choral Singers will have black corners & Day-visitors will have an orange border on their badges. It is most important that all members of the Summer School wear their badges at all times – prominently, please! Have your PASSBOOK with you at all times to identify you for entry to Concerts and Meals.
