Aria and Song Choices
Then you should consider sending in your 4 Song choices if you are applying for Art Song. Titles and keys must be sent to the AIMS office by May 31st, to assist in the timetabling. Begin to make your choices for Opera Oratorio Early Music & Cabaret Class but do not send them in.You will bring your own choice of repertoire to Vocal Technique Cabaret Class (on the theme of “Wine, Women & Song”); Early Music. Beginning in 2010 you will no longer need to send your Opera & Oratorio choices in advance - just your Art Songs.
Repertoire is pre-selected for you in Ensembles A) & B); but please state your preference for group A) or B). Ensemble items will be pre-selected for singers in Parlour Music.
The Cabaret Ensembles for Cabaret Class have been selected viz:"With a song in my heart" featuring the music of Richard Rogers, (arr. Mac Huff). Edition: Williamson Music distrubuted by Hal Leonard, no. 08621033.
