Booking for Solo Singers 2012

Complete the Booking form (see below) by making 3 choices of solo classes & 1 optional 4^th choice.

At this stage you should use the form that is returned to you with your Booking Confirmation to send in the titles of your 3 Arias if choosing Op) Opera, Or) Oratorio or EM) Early Music; and titles of your 4 Song choices if you are applying for AS) Art Song.

Titles and keys of your Art Songs must be sent to the AIMS office by May 31^st, to assist in timetabling. You do not need to send in your choices for Cab) Cabaret.

Choose an optional 4^th choice (see the booking form) from the following list: Opera chorus (1 or 2); Ensemble (A or B); Cabaret Ensembles; Parlour Music.

Apply for an Audition on Sunday April 15th if you wish to be considered for named roles in the Opera or Oratorio extracts, Purcell’s Fairy Queen, G & S solos, or if you wish to be heard for any other reason.

You bring your own choice of repertoire to your 3 VT) Vocal Technique sessions, & to Cab) Cabaret Class. This year’s Cabaret theme is “Travel”.

Repertoire is preselected for you in E) Ensembles A) & B); but please state your preference for group A) or B). Ensembles will be preselected in P) Parlour Music.

Music Theatre students work all afternoons in this class & therefore only select

1 further solo class (in addition to their normal 3 sessions of Vocal Technique).
