Bursaries and Financial Help

The Sussex Opera and Ballet Society are sponsoring 2 solo singers with Sussex connections. The Artistic Director & Administrator are grateful to them and to the other generous donors (including Chelsea Square & private benefactors) who have made it possible for so many students to attend at a reduced price.

There is only a modest amount of funding available for this. But, following the creation of “The AIMS Bursary Fund” we hope to find ways of offering financial help to deserving young singers in further education, or on the verge of a singing career.

In past years twenty-four students received financial help. If there are any ‘angels’ out there who would like to help by contributing to this Fund, please contact the Administrators.

£275 would pay half fees for one student, and a £1100 donation would guarantee that 4 could attend on half-fees. Gift Aid Forms can be provided. The AIMS Bursary Fund is Charity no. 1123905.
