MINI-AIMS 2010

A very successful Mini-AIMS took place between April 14th and 18th. About 120 students took part in the daily programmes, studying Opera Arias, Oratorio Arias, Art-song and lighter Cabaret numbers with regular AIMS tutors Richard Jackson, Ameral Gunson, John Hancorn, Morag McLaren, Hilary Fisher, Neil and Penny Jenkins.

They were well supported by house-pianists who are regularly found playing at the main summer AIMS: Terence Allbright, Anna Le Hair, Hazel Ramsay, Merel van der Knoop, Tim Nail, Phillip Sear and Nick Andrews. The new venue at Burgess Hill School for Girls was very convenient, and was much appreciated for its rooms, its pleasant Refreshment area, and for its lovely grounds - which were particularly appreciated during this bout of fine weather.
