Noise and Curfew

Please remember that there are residents who live on site including the Headmaster (especially in and around the boarding houses and the Main School), and many of these are families with children. So please walk quietly back to your residences after the evening concerts and especially after the Barn Dance and the late night Cabaret on the last evening.

There must not be any music making of any kind in any building where people sleep. For the comfort and peace of mind of all this rule will be strictly enforced: No singing is allowed in the accommodation blocks, unless there is a Teaching Room located there. Rooms with pianos may be used until 9.30 and the Music School will remain open until 10. After 10pm please make no noise which might disturb others.

A chart of practice rooms with pianos or electric keyboards will be put on the notice board each day and rooms may be booked from lunch time for the following day.
